๐ How a typical journaling session might evolve ๐ธ
I woke up feeling off. Not exactly sadโฆ just overwhelmed.
Like something heavy was sitting on my chest, but I couldnโt name it.
A familiar pit in my stomach. A swirl in my mind.
Instead of bottling it up again, I reached for my journal.
No filters. No fancy prompts. Just pure emotional dumping.
โI feel stuck. Like Iโm repeating the same relationship patterns. Iโm exhausted by it all.โ
โWhy do I always shrink myself? Why do I explode over things that shouldn't matter this much?โ
โI want out of this loop.โ
As I wrote, the words poured out faster. Tears followed. Thenโฆ space.
I paused and let myself breathe. Really breathe.
And thatโs when it surfaced:
โIโm scared of being abandoned.โ
โI learned to silence myself to stay safe.โ
โMy body still braces, even when thereโs no danger.โ
It hit deep. But it was honest. I let it land.

I visualised soft light wrapping around my chestโwhere the ache sat.
I imagined roots growing from my feet, grounding me. My breath slowed. I felt myself return.
I whispered to myself:
โI am safe now.โ
โIโm allowed to feel this.โ
โIโm not brokenโjust healing.โ
And then I wrote:
โWhat can I give myself today?โ
โCompassion. Quiet. A warm mug. A walk with no agenda.โ
